Red Panda / Ailurus fulgens

Red Panda come from the Bears family and looks like a house cat, which are found in the forests of the South Himalayas, South-west China, Sikkim, Assam and North Arunachal Pradesh(India). Due to this very shy and gentle nature, he was away from our eyes for many years, still he wants to stay away from human settlements. It is mostly silent except for the sound of chirping and chirping , but it soon fell prey to human produce despite being discovered too late and since 2008 it has been classified by the IUCN as an endangered animal.
 Red Panda is a state animal of the Skikkim( Indian state)
   Special Identity- its famous black-and-white cousin.
 Diet- Herbivore
Size- Head and body: 20-26 inches, Tail: 12-20 inches.
Wieght- 12-20 pounds
Average life spin in captivity: 8 years

रेड पांडा भालु परिवार से आता है और घरेलु बिल्ली की तरह लगता है, जो हिमालय कि दक्षिण चोटियो, दक्षिण-पश्चीम चीन, सिक्किम, असम एवं उत्तरी अरुणांचल प्रदेश (भारत) के जंगलो में पाये जाते है, ये बेहद ही शर्मिले और कोमल स्वभाव के कारण कई वर्षो तक हामरे नजरो से दुर रहा था अभी भी ये मानव बस्तियो से दुर रहना चाहता है । यह चहकने औप चु-चु की आवाज करने के आलावा अधिकतर चुपचाप रहते है, लेकिन बहुत देर से खोज होने के बावजुद भी जल्दी ही मानव उपज का शिकार हो गया और 2008 से इसे IUCN ने लुप्तप्राय पशु कि श्रेणी मे रखा गया है
रेड पांडा भारतीय राज्य सिक्किम का राजकिय पशु भी है
पहचान विशेषता- गरहे लाल रंग के बाल , पुछ कंबल के तरह होते है जिन पर वृत्त जैसी धारीया होती है
 शाकाहारी है बास को मुख्य भोजन के रुप में प्रयोग करते है, पेड़ के उस भाग में सोना पसंद करते है जहा तक किसी की नजर जल्दी ना पहुच सके
लम्बाई- सिर और शरीर तकरीबन 20 से 26 इंच, और पुछ 12 से 20 इंच के होते है
भार- 12 से 20 पाउण्ड
औसत आयु- 8 वर्ष
