स्टेचू ऑफ़ लिबर्टी - स्वतंत्रता की देवी

देवी और देवता हर देश के प्रथम प्रतीकात्मक संकेत होते हैं चाहे वह देश कितना ही क्यों ना नास्तिकता में जकड़ा हो लेकिन उसको आस्तिकता के दौर से जरूर ही गुजारना पड़ा होगा तभी तो लगभग पूरे विश्व में न जाने कितने देवी और देवता हैं बल्कि हर देश के, हर लोगों के अलग-अलग रूप रंग में प्रादुर्भाव हुए
ऐसे ही एक मूर्ति स्टैचू ऑफ लिबर्टी है जो स्वतंत्रता की देवी के रूप में प्रतिस्थापित हैं,
स्टेचू ऑफ़ लिबर्टी पूरे कपड़े में खड़ी एक महिला की प्रतिमा जो स्वतंत्रता की देवी लिबर्टस(स्वतंत्रता) का प्रतिनिधित्व करती है,वह अपने दाहिने हाथ में एक मसाल रखती हैं और उनके बाएं हाथ में किताब है जिस पर"JULY IV MDCCLXXVI" (4July,1776) लिखा है, जो संयुक्त राज्य अमेरिका की स्वतंत्रता की घोषणा है।

यह प्रतिमा विश्व को जागरूक करने वाली एक प्रतिमा है जो हार्बर, न्यूयॉर्क(अमेरिका) में स्थित विशाल मूर्ति है।
अमेरिकन क्रांति के दौरान फ्रांस और अमेरिका की दोस्ती के प्रतीक तौर पर फ्रांस ने यह मूर्ति 1886 में अमेरिका को उपहार स्वरूप दिया था।
इस मूर्ति का डिजाइन फ्रांसीसी मूर्तिकार 'फ्रेडरिक अगस्त बाथोल्दी' ने तैयार किया था जबकि इसका निर्माण 'गुस्ताव एफिल' ने किया था।
इसे 1884 में तैयार कर फ्रांसीसी युद्धपोत 'आईसेर' द्वारा 17 जून1885 को न्यूयॉर्क बंदरगाह पर लाया गया था इसे अमेरिका लाते समय 350 टुकड़ों में बांटा गया था और 214 बॉक्स में बन्द किया गया था, अमेरिका पहुंचने के बाद स्टैचू के टुकड़ों को जोड़ने में 4 महीने का समय लगा था।
तथा उस समय के तत्कालीन राष्ट्रपति 'ग्रोवर क्लीवलैंड' ने 28,अक्टूबर 1888 को हजारों दर्शकों के सामने स्टैचू ऑफ लिबर्टी का अनावरण किया था।
मूर्ति व्याख्या-
* मूर्ति के मुकुट पर 7 किरण हैं जो दुनिया के सात महाद्वीपों का प्रतिनिधित्व करती है प्रत्येक किरण की लंबाई 9 फीट है तथा वजन लगभग 150 पाउंड है * 22 मंजिला इस मूर्ति के ताज तक पहुंचने के लिए 354 घुमावदार सीढ़ियां चढ़ने पड़ती है
* तांबे से निर्मित मूर्ति 151 फीट लंबी है लेकिन पूरी लंबाई 305 फीट ऊंचाई की है जिसमें चौकी और आधारशिला भी शामिल है
* मूर्ति के बाएं हाथ में 23 फीट 7 इंच लंबा और 13 फीट 7 इंच चौड़ी तख्ती 2 फुट मोटी है जिस पर जुलाई 4,1776 लिखा है

* मूर्ति के पैरों में पड़ी हुई बेड़ियां उत्पीड़न और अत्याचार से मुक्ति का प्रतीक है 

* 1986, मे मरम्मत के दौरान नयी मशाल को 24 कैरेट सोने की पतली परत से घेरा गया था
* यूनेस्को द्वारा इसे 1984 में विश्व विरासत स्थल के रूप में घोषित किया गया

जमीनी स्तर से मशाल तक= 305 फीट 1 इंच (93 मीटर)
कुल वजन = 225 टन
कुल लागत=फ्रांसीसी और अमेरिकी लोगों ने इस स्टैचू के निर्माण के लिए 2250000 फ्रैंक एकत्रित किए थे।

Statue of Liberty - Goddess of Freedom

  Gods and Goddesses are the first symbolic signs of every country, no matter how that country is clad in atheism, but it must have gone through a period of theism, only then how many Gods and Gods are there in almost all the world but not every country  , Different forms of people have emerged in color
 One such statue is the Statue of Liberty, which is replaced as the goddess of freedom,
 The Statue of Liberty, a statue of a woman standing in full clothes representing Libertus (Freedom), the goddess of freedom, holds a spice in her right hand and a book in her left hand on which "JULY IV MDCCLXXVI" (4July,  1776), which is a declaration of independence of the United States.
 This statue is a world aware statue which is a huge statue located in Harbor, New York (USA).
 In 1886, this statue was gifted to America as a symbol of friendship between France and America during the American Revolution.
 The sculpture was designed by the French sculptor 'Frederick August Batholdi' while it was built by 'Gustave Eiffel'.
 It was drafted in 1884 and brought to the port of New York on 17 June 1885 by the French warship 'Icer'. It was divided into 350 pieces when brought to the US and closed in 214 boxes, 4 of attaching the pieces of the Statue after reaching America.  It took a month.
 And the then President 'Grover Cleveland' unveiled the Statue of Liberty on 28, October 1888 in front of thousands of spectators.
 Statue interpretation-
 * There are 7 rays on the crown of the idol representing the seven continents of the world. Each beam is 9 feet in length and weighs about 150 pounds.

 * To reach the crown of 22 storey this statue has to climb 354 curved stairs.
 * The copper statue is 151 feet long but the entire length is 305 feet in height including the outpost and the cornerstone.
 * In the left hand of the statue, 23 feet 7 inches tall and 13 feet 7 inches wide planks are 2 feet thick, written on July 4,1776.

 * The shackles lying in the feet of the idol symbolize freedom from oppression and tyranny.
 * During repair in 1986, the new torch was surrounded by a thin layer of 24 carat gold.
 * It was declared as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1984
